In 2005 three friends in the automotive paint business saw a huge service void with their Atlanta paint customers. They saw their body shops desperately needing a professional company that they could rely on to service, sell and maintain their spray booths, compressors and other body shop equipment. The critical need for an equipment company became something the 3 business partners could no longer ignore. They decided to form a company that would meet and exceed the equipment needs of all their paint customers.
May 2006 GSB Industries was formed in Atlanta, GA and the three founders JP Uren, Dave Marlow and Keith Byers decided to apply the same service model that made them successful in the automotive paint world to the equipment world. The company quickly evolved and grew into not only servicing and selling spray booths but also handling compressors, airlines, frame racks, drying systems and many other equipment needs for collision centers, dealerships and fleet-industrial customers in North Georgia.
GSB has always been committed to their customers service experience, making sure that their customers are satisfied. This service model has become so popular with other body shops that they have quickly expanded into parts of Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and south Georgia. Due to this rapid growth, the company now has a staff consisting of 16 service technicians, 2 office manager and 4 sales reps. It is GSB’s complete staff of technicians, cleaning crews, installation crews and sales team that separate them from all other equipment companies in the industry.
